About this Group


The group provides assistance to its members who have an interest in local and personal history.  Collections held by members are being digitised and catalogued to enable them to be published on the website so that they are available worldwide.  Monthly meetings are held to discuss members' results and to gain knowledge from visiting speakers.

Primary Aims

To promote research and undertake projects relating to the history and environs of the communities in Linkinhorne Parish, Cornwall.
To record, store, communicate, and publish the results for the benefit of the community.
To seek funding, invite donations and receive contributions from any person or persons by way of donations or sponsorships as considered appropriate by the committee.

Group Meetings

Meetings of the Community Archive Group are held weekly at times advertised in the parish 'LINK' magazine.  Monthly History Group meetings are held in the Manor House Inn, Rilla Mill on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m.

Project Types

The history of Linkinhorne Parish people, its dwellings, occupation and, social activities.
