The Caradon Hill Area Heritage Project was a Heritage Lottery Fund Living Landscape Partnership Project helping to recognise, conserve and enhance the area’s special character.
The Caradon Hill Area Heritage Project was established in 2009 and, funded for 4 years by the Heritage Lottery Fund and other local funders.
It worked as a community-focused support organisation for all kinds of heritage projects in the Caradon Hill Area, a listing of the legacy groups can be found under “News & Groups”.
Cornwall Council was the accountable body for CHAHP and employer of the Project Team during the active phase of the project.

Caradon Hill Area Project Partnership Group (PPG)
An informal partnership was specifically set up to steer CHAHP. It met at least once a quarter and included representation from the local authorities, parish councils, landowners, commoners, the local community, relevant organisations and the national conservation agencies.
The Caradon Heritage Partnership
Is the current volunteer legacy group, which meets at least annually, and continues to frequently monitor the project area informally and fosters the continuation of the projects activities through the legacy groups.
