About this Group
Partner agency work involving the police, commoners, Cornwall and parish councillors, Community Network Managers, Animal Health and others aimed at reducing the numbers of livestock killed or injured on our moorland roads around Bodmin Moor. The group are also discussing other issues such as livestock attacks by dogs, off road vehicle use and dog fouling on the moor.
Primary Aims
Primarily to promote a safer environment for road users and livestock round the moor by educating drivers and looking into ways to improve our road structure. The group will also consider all other aspects concerned with the moor with the goal to help retain the outstanding natural beauty of the moor and the safety of those who enjoy it.

Organising talks, field meetings and networking events on a wide range of woodland topics relevant to local people. Issues include woodland management for timber and firewood production, training for woodland workers and owners, woodlands as an educational resource, woodland management and protected species, dealing with pests and diseases.

About this Group
The group provides assistance to its members who have an interest in local and personal history. Collections held by members are being digitised and catalogued to enable them to be published on the website so that they are available worldwide. Monthly meetings are held to discuss members’ results and to gain knowledge from visiting speakers.
Primary Aims
To promote research and undertake projects relating to the history and environs of the communities in Linkinhorne Parish, Cornwall.
To record, store, communicate, and publish the results for the benefit of the community.
To seek funding, invite donations and receive contributions from any person or persons by way of donations or sponsorships as considered appropriate by the committee.
Group Meetings
Meetings of the Community Archive Group are held weekly at times advertised in the parish ‘LINK’ magazine. Monthly History Group meetings are held in the Manor House Inn, Rilla Mill on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m.
